The Lowcountry LevelUP Organization and its board of directors are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Lowcountry LevelUP Summit & Blood Drive, to be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The Summit, which will be hosted at the Walterboro Wildlife Center, will have speakers providing valuable information on health, financial wellness, and political engagement that will benefit students, families, and the entire community. Food, school supplies, and scholarship opportunities will also be provided to the attendees. The Blood Drive will allow participants to help address the country's emergency blood shortage as the country experiences the lowest number of people giving blood in several decades. Blood donations will help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures proceed without delay.
The purpose of the Lowcountry LevelUP Organization is to engage, equip, and empower the community through programs, events, and initiatives that provide opportunities for achievement in all aspects of human endeavor. This includes providing students with a forum to receive information regarding post-secondary educational options, career choices, and future professional growth. We will also offer families opportunities for individual & household skill development as it relates to physical, mental, and financial wellness. Lastly, the organization will foster healthy environments where businesses owners, civic leaders, and political representatives can engage the community in a healthy, productive manner for the benefit of collective uplift.
