Welcome to The 28th explorASIAN Closing Gala & Recognition Awards Ceremony! Join us on Sun Jun 23 2024 at 18:00 at the Floata Seafood Restaurant 富大海鮮酒家 for a night of celebration and recognition. This event marks the end of explorASIAN, a month-long festival celebrating Asian heritage and culture.
Since its foundation, the Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Society has dedicated its efforts and advocacy to contribute to the inclusion, collaboration, and social integration of Asian Canadian communities through its explorASIAN festival and programming. VAHMS is aware of the important role that many individuals and organizations have played in the achievement of integrating Pan-Asian communities in our multicultural society.
The Closing Gala of the 2024 explorASIAN Festival will take place at Floata Seafood Restaurant on June 23rd from 6 to 8 pm. Apart from provide delicious Chinese cuisines, it will also present performnaces by Asian artists, as well as the Ceremony of the Annual Recognition Awards to recognize and thank those individuals or organizations that significantly promote cross-cultural exchange, contribute to the broader exposure of Asian-Canadian arts and culture in our community, and highlight those Pan-Asian communities that may otherwise go unnoticed.
