2024 Honorees: The Honorable Jon M. Alander will receive the 24th Annual Yale Sappern Award for his unparalleled service throughout his distinguished legal and judicial career; Attorney Nancy E. Sasser will receive the Inaugural Nathan M. Silverstein Award for her dedication and service to the Sappern Fellows and the entire New Haven legal community.
The Yale Sappern Memorial Fund’s annual fundraising dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, Connecticut. Over the past 26 years, the Sappern Memorial Fund has raised more than $500,000 to help protect people in our community from domestic violence. The annual dinner helps to fund fellowships for Quinnipiac University Law Students, who help victims of violence obtain restraining orders.
