The Fit and Fabulous Health and Wellness Expo is the premier health initiative in Dallas – Fort Worth and the surrounding area. In addition to an exhibit hall showcasing vendors from the health, wellness, beauty, and fitness industries, the event features seminars on timely subjects affecting the health of our community.
The Expo is held annually through a partnership between Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Tau Rho Omega Chapter and the Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Tau Rho Omega Chapter was founded in January of 1993. Our service area includes the cities of Carrollton, Lewisville, Coppell, Flower Mound and Irving, Texas. Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation, founded in 2017, mission is to support programs and initiatives that enhance economic and educational week-being, and address health disparities and social inequality.
The event is in its fifth year, and will be held September 28, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn Lewisville Convention Center. Join us a 9 AM for an energizing aerobic workout called "Walk This Way with AKA!”. The exhibit hall will be open from 9 AM to 2 PM. Don't miss our educational workshops on health and wellness featuring local medical experts. Our theme this year is “Wellness Forever!” Let’s get excited about being healthy!
