About Sam Mercanti
Sam Mercanti was the President and CEO of CARSTAR Automotive Canada. His vision for a country wide network of “Best in Class” Collision Centres was accomplished with over 220 Locations in 20 years. Sam’s journey is vividly detailed in his book ‘Risen - From the Shop Floor: Lessons from an Entrepreneur.' This is an incredible story of a Canadian Visionary who built a company, a brand, and a national franchising phenomenon. Sam has extensive community and charity involvement and donates all proceeds from the sales of his book to the Cystic Fibrosis Canada Foundation.
Sam has achieved his success by surrounding himself with a great team that shared his Vision, Mission and Values. He continues to invest his talents in business, but first always comes God, family, friends and the community. Sam sold CARSTAR at the end of 2015 and is currently the President of Mercanti Management Inc. Sam, his wife Roma Mercanti, and their daughter Samantha Mercanti, operate the Sam and Roma Mercanti Family Office and the Sam and Roma Mercanti Foundation in Downtown Hamilton, Ontario.
