Come out and enjoy a special evening where we honor those who have given back to the OMYGA organization in many ways. Dinner, music, and ambiance are on us!

About this event

You are cordially invited to an amazing weekend filled with many fun and continuous memories. More than 100 OMYGA alumni, family members, and supporters will be in attendance this year to celebrate our amazing organization and the lives this program has changed throughout the years. Once again, this year, we’ll return to our roots to play a golf course full of memories—Dubsdread Golf Club!

This event is open to all OMYGA alumni, their family members, and friends of the program. We hope to see you there as we come together to support and raise funds for the program that has given us so much.

Detailed Schedule of Events:

The Annual Golf Gala is on the evening of Friday, August 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Hilton Orlando Altamonte Springs.
The Annual Scramble Golf Tournament, with a Shotgun start time, will be held at Dubsdread Golf Course on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 8:00 AM.

Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association Alumni

The Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association program is designed to introduce minority youth, ages 6 to 18, to the sport of golf and to equip them with the skills to succeed in both golf and life. By teaching the skills required to succeed on the golf course, these inner-city and urban-area youth learn the importance of discipline which will help them grow in almost every aspect of life. The youth also develop various character traits such as positive self-esteem, self-motivation, self-direction and self-respect. Additionally, the OMYGA program aids in producing quality golf athletes that then qualify for high school and college golf teams
