About this event

  • 1 hour

You are invited! Join us for our annual That We May Be One gathering focusing on companionship between one another, the future of the Texas Annual Conference, and the broader UMC Connexion.

This year we will be hearing from some of our TAC General Conference delegates about the most recent General Conference in Charlotte, NC. As always, our hope is that you leave encouraged, informed, and equipped for the work of Annual Conference so that we might all grow stronger together.

Admission to this event will include a breakfast taco catering and covers our use of the assembly room at First UMC Houston, Westchase.

Scholarships are both available and needed. Please do not miss this event because of financial strain! Additionally, we thank any and all generous friends of the event who are able to scholarship others with tickets! If you are able to sponsor a scholarship for another clergy or layperson to attend, that is greatly appreciated.

If you would like to attend with a scholarship, please email thatwemaybeoneTAC@gmail.com to let us know.

If you are able to assist others with purchasing their tickets, please email thatwemaybeoneTAC@gmail.com. We have cut it very close the last few years, so please do think about sponsoring an extra ticket if you can.

+ + +

That We May Be One is a group of leaders from around the conference, with a diverse variety of experiences, backgrounds, and theological positions who believe we are stronger together than we are apart. We dream of a Texas Annual Conference and a United Methodist Church that is united in mission and diverse in thought.
