For the past 5 years, TGC Chicago has gathered like-minded pastors from the Chicago area a few times a year for encouragement and prayer with the goal of sustaining faithful and fruitful preaching, pastoral care, and personal holiness.
Typically, our gatherings feature a guest speaker, and we are looking forward to having Collin Hansen back with us on June 13. Save the date!
However, for our next gathering on March 14 we’re going to do something a little different. We’d like to offer an extended time to focus on fellowship, mutual encouragement, and prayer. We’re convinced that now, more than ever, pastors need to know they’re not alone in ministry. In an increasingly divided world, we need brothers in Christ with whom we can link arms and strive side by side for the faith of the gospel (Phil. 1:24).
Many of us find this blessing in our own local churches, denominations, and networks. But TGC Chicago has always been a place where diverse, yet gospel-centered, pastors can connect and encourage one another. This broadens our perspective and our gratitude for Christ’s work in our region.
So, on March 14, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. we’ll gather at The Orchard in Arlington Heights for extended table discussion, prayer, and a good meal. Come ready to share some of your current ministry joys and challenges as we seek to build one another up for the glory of Christ.
