Texas Tech Coding Academy is a collaboration between Austin Coding Academy and Texas Tech University. TTCA is a part-time web development school that takes students from no experience to job-ready web developer in under a year. Join us online for our free Learn to Code Workshop to learn more about our program and build your very first website!

This workshop is crafted for total beginners looking for an entry to web development from the very start. No coding exerience necessary to participate!

From 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, we'll help you with your first-ever coding project from start to finish. During the workshop, we'll cover basics of HTML, CSS, and how web development works in a broad sense. You will use all in-browser tools for this, so there's no need to download any programs. We do recommend using the Chrome browser.

What to prepare/bring:

• Your computer
• A strong internet connection
• Recommended a second monitor if available
• Download Zoom
• Download Chrome Browser
• Create a Github account
• Patience and persistence!
