Winner of the Naumburg Chamber Music competition, Terra String Quartet, will open our 45th season with music by Schubert and Britten.
Due to the recent changes to the practical training work authorization rules for foreign students, one of the Galvin Cello Quartet members is not allowed to tour with the ensemble, forcing the group to cancel all upcoming performances including our opening concert. While we regret this development, we are thrilled to announce that the Terra String Quartet, winner of the Naumburg Chamber Music competition, as well as a prize winner of both Wigmore Hall and Bordeaux string quartet competitions, has graciously agreed to open our season on October 8th at 7:30 PM at the Temple Ohev Sholom with music by Schubert and Britten.
