Celebrate the freshness of Spring at Aniko Ritchies family farm this May 25th from 2-5pm for a special Tepache making Workshop / Happy Hour!
Tepache is a flavorful, effervescent, lightly fermented pineapple beverage popular in Mexico that’s made from the skins and core of pineapple. You can enjoy the fresh pineapple flesh and also make use of the parts typically discarded in order to enjoy it over a longer period of time.
Aniko Ritchie will be sharing her family recipe & guiding us through the Tepache making process for making our own half gallon of tepache to take home. This refreshing and probiotic drink is a wonderful refreshing beverage for Spring & Summer and sure to become a family favorite!
After the workshop, we'll gather for a delightful Happy Hour where we can enjoy some pre-made fermented Tepache along with other refreshing beverages & a variety of delicious appetizers. If you've attended our Happy Hour / Workshops before... you know that our food pairings can get quite elaborate! People are welcome to bring their own beer & wine to enjoy with their food. It's the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow food enthusiasts in a beautiful and relaxing environment.
Recipes & 1/2 gallon of Tepache to take home are included.
Our workshop takes place indoors in a large roomy kitchen / dining room area with our Happy Hour on a spacious outdoor deck and separate barn area. People are welcome to explore their farm and visit with the chickens and goats.
Fresh farm eggs and homemade added value products are available for purchase afterwards.
