About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Mother’s Day can stir deep waves of emotion—grief, tenderness, longing, and love. This workshop is a ritual space for those navigating grief around motherhood in its many forms: abortion, miscarriage, fertility struggles, the loss of a mother, or the ache of unmet longing.

Held through the Tamalpa Life/Art Process®, we will move with the intelligence of the body, allowing grief to be expressed and witnessed through movement, drawing, writing, and shared reflection. Together, we will honor what has been lost, make space for what longs to be felt, and listen for what is ready to come to life in us now.

This is a gentle, somatic, and creative process. No experience in art or movement is necessary—just a willingness to be present with your truth.

When: Sunday May 11th from 6-9pm
Where: Studio 414 - Montreal, QC
Exchange: Sliding scale $50–80. The standard rate is $65. If you’re able to pay more, it helps support others to attend. Scholarships available for QTBIPOC.

Space is limited. All identities and experiences are welcome.
