GENERAL INFORMATION

  • If you have medication, it must be in the original container labeled with campers name and dosing information.
  • Please complete the medication administration permission slip
  • Please check your children for lice. Please re-check your child before arrival. Camp Liberty has a “no nits” policy and the lice will require treatment before camper attends camp.
  • Arrival to camp should be Monday at 3:30. Pick-Up will be Saturday morning at 10AM.


What to bring:

  • Bible
  • Notebook and Pen
  • Toiletries
  • Casual clothes for services
  • Recreation attire
  • Extra pair of old shoes and clothes
  • Bedding (sleeping bag/pillow)
  • Towels
  • Sunscreen and/or bug spray
  • Spending money
  • Medication (in it’s original container, not in a pill divider)


What NOT to bring:

  • Electronics
  • Knives (of any size)
  • Fireworks
  • Drugs/Alcohol/Tobacco


Helpful tips:

  • Use a colored ribbon for your suitcase
  • Mark name clearly suitcase/ luggage
  • Laundry bag
  • Send spray sunscreen
  • Pack at least 2 towels
  • Send a fitted sheet for the mattress; sleeping bag and pillow
  • Bring a back pack or cinch bag/draw string
  • Cheap sunglasses
  • Flashlight


Boys/Men:

All clothing worn for daily activities must be loose-fitting and reach the top of the knees. Tank tops may not be worn. Long pants and shirts with collars should be worn for evening services. Don’t forget swimming trunks for water day (giant slip and slide, water baloons, etc.)


Girls/Ladies:

All clothing worn for daily activities must be loose-fitting and reach the top of the knees. Slits in skirts must not come above the knee. No tanks tops and tops must not be low cut in the front or the back. Knee-length skirts or dresses should be worn to each evening service. (Bring clothes for water day!)


Emergency:

In case of emergency, call the camp office at (903) 389-1200. Under normal circumstances, campers should not be called or visited.


Christian Conduct:

As a Christian organization, Camp Liberty maintains standards of conduct, music, and separation. The use of tobacco, alcohol, or any form of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden. We reserve the right to request a change of clothing or correct behavior deemed inappropriate. Any non-cooperative or noncompliant attendees are subject to dismissal at their own expense.
