Where can I park?

TEDxTWU attendees can park for free  in the TWU Visitor lot (accessible parking spaces available) located on Administration Drive, or in the large lot at the corner of Locust and Oakland (no accessible parking spaces).

Do I need a physical ticket?

Accepted Answer

Since your ticket is attached to your name and email address, you do not need to bring a physical copy of your ticket to the venue. When you check in, you will be asked for your name. Please make sure the correct name is on your ticket to avoid confusion when checking in.

Question 3

Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

There is no formal dress code for TEDxTWU, but we do invite you to dress comfortably enough to sit in a theater for several hours at a time. Our speakers will be dressed in their TV best, so feel free to do the same if you’d like to take photos or add a sense of occasion to the event!

Is there an age restriction?

Accepted Answer

All ages are welcome to TEDxTWU 2026, but it should be noted that we cannot guarantee talk content will be suitable for children.

Question 5

Can I take photos or record video?

Accepted Answer

No flash photography, phones, or video cameras are allowed in the theater due to TEDx licensing restrictions. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and video the theater, in the lobby, and in  common spaces to celebrate your loved one’s achievement and commemorate the event!

Question 6

Is lunch included?

Accepted Answer

We invite morning session ticket holders to join us for lunch immediately following the morning lineup. We invite afternoon session ticket holders to join us after the event at 5pm for a meet and greet reception with our speakers. Please RSVP with your ticket purchase.

Question 7

Can I bring in my own water bottle?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring in bottled water, but no other outside food or other drinks are allowed into the main theater space.

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds for TEDxTWU 2026. If you purchased a ticket and  are unable to attend, share the wealth by transferring your ticket to another person! Need help finding someone to transfer to? Check your confirmation email for organizer contact details - we can help!
