Sno-Isle Libraries serves more than 743,000 residents in Washington's Snohomish and Island counties through 22 community libraries, online services, and Library on Wheels.

Welcome to TEDxSnoIsleLibraries!
Reservations to attend the TEDxSnoIsleLibraries on November 4, 2017 will open at 7 a.m. on October 15 and generally sell out in less than 24 hours. If you do miss getting a reservation you can still use this form to reserve your space at our 9 libraries and other venues showing the event via livestream video, including facilitated discussions of the speakers, their topics and more. Or, you may reserve a space at the dress rehearsal at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 3.

Why TEDxSnoIsleLibraries?
For a third year, Sno-Isle Libraries is providing a TEDx opportunity to connect you with ideas and information. This year's TEDxSnoIsleLibraries will take place on Nov. 4 at <A HREF="https://www.google.com/maps/place/10801+Harbour+Pointe+Blvd,+Mukilteo,+WA+98275/@47.9007545,-122.3041051,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x549003f1e0b22c39:0xd238e09dd9bdc94f!8m2!3d47.9007509!4d-122.3019164" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kamiak High School </A>in Mukilteo. 
This year's theme is "Sharing Our Future." Speakers and performers will explore the promise, risks, expectations and potential meaning of a future which is shared or not.
Kamiak High School’s performing arts center will seat up to 360 attendees. Plus, there will be livestream viewing events at eight community libraries: Camano Island, Coupeville, Darrington, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Marysville, Mukilteo and Snohomish; and also at <A HREF="https://goo.gl/maps/j7a5kY9QzPu" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gencare</A> in Granite Falls. And the event will be livestreamed on the Sno-Isle Libraries website. Registration for the main venue and viewing sites will open Oct. 15.

Why TEDxSnoIsleLibraries?

What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSnoIsleLibraries, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSnoIsleLibraries event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
