ReImagine Science's TEDx Countdown event - hear speakers with actionable ideas, a focus on climate change mitigation, and a place to stand

ReImagine Science is incredibly excited to present four key speakers in the area of climate change and mitigation. Wildfires. Rising Temperatures. Coral Bleaching and Ocean Health. Catastrophe-Resilient and Sustainable Energy Grids. ReImagine Science is hosting the leading experts on these top-of-mind topics. Featuring Danielle Wright of NASRC on how we can affect the #1 high impact action according to Drawdown, Joanna Nelson, fire ecologist on wildfires and forest management, Michele Weber, evolutionary biologist on the magic, diversity and deep-time of our ocean life, and energy grid design that is attainable NOW - in a way that creates a resilience energy grid in times of natural disasters, and halts a deeper carbon footprint, will be explained by Clean Coalition founder Craig Lewis. This event will be interactive, and immersive. Prepare to be involved. Lead by master facilitator Anamaria Aristizabal, you will have the opportunity to place yourself on the map of change processes. Where are your talents and energies contributing, and why is that so important? You'll see how that intersects with, and maps to the other parts of the system - what you need from them, and what they need from you.Plus we'll be graced with the beautiful music produced by musicians Will Ackermans (of 'The Gatherings') and Neal Hellman (Mountain Dulcimer) and poems by young students of the Pseads program, teaching STEM and literacy through poetry.
