GETTING TO CLARK PARK

Clark Park is at 43rd Street and Baltimore Avenue, West Philadelphia (19104). It's well-served by public transit and there is some street parking, though we'd strongly encourage transit or rideshare.

By SEPTA Trolley (recommended)

The 34 Trolley is the most direct route—it runs underground from Center City and surfaces right at the park. The 11 and 13 lines also stop nearby. SEPTA accepts contactless payment (credit/debit card or Apple/Google Pay) at the turnstile or on the trolley. Fare is $2.00.

By Rideshare / Car

Clark Park is straightforward to reach by Uber or Lyft from anywhere in the city or nearby suburbs. Drop-off on Baltimore Ave at 43rd St works well.

ACCOMMODATION

June 28 falls during the FIFA World Cup — Philadelphia is hosting a match the day before (June 27), and while prices are currently priced high, it's possible prices will drop leading up to the event. Book early, and book something refundable. Then check again a month before the event.

SUGGESTED AREAS

• UNIVERSITY CITY (Closest): This is the neighborhood immediately surrounding the park. It's the most walkable option, but hotel prices appear high at this time. Examples: The Study at University City, Sheraton University City.
• CITY AVENUE (~15-20 min drive): A solid mid-range option northwest of the park. It's a straightforward rideshare away, though traffic may be heavy. Examples: Courtyard by Marriott – City Avenue, Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue.
• CENTER CITY (~25-30 min via Trolley/Rideshare): Best for those who want to see the city. The 34 Trolley makes this a one-seat ride to the event. Examples: Hilton Garden Inn – Center City, Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown.
• WESTERN SUBURBS — Main Line & beyond (car recommended). Quieter, often cheaper, and may have better availability during World Cup weekend. Plan on a 20–30 min drive to Clark Park. Examples: Residence Inn by Marriott – Bala Cynwyd, Fairfield Inn & Suites – Broomall/Newtown Square.

In addition, we've reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia at a rate of $239/night. Note: This is about a 35-minute drive from the park. It’s a reliable fallback, but we encourage you to check for individual rooms closer to the venue first. Feel free to book via this link.
