TechyEducators Meetup

Techykids.com is a hub for kids to be inspired with a blend of robotics, creativity, technology, and invention.  Techykids.com is the US distributor for the Thymio educational robot and contains student projects created with the TechyKids Learning System.  Educators can also use the original and kid tested curriculum to power their classrooms.  Kids can learn online or participate in on of our programs in the Bay Area!

Meet and have a lively conversation with other TechyEducators at the beautiful CBRE office in the heart of Palo Alto.  TechyKids is looking for a core group of TechyEducators to build a thriving community and beta test.
Looking for content creators, community organizers, passionate techy educators and makerspace leaders.
TechyKids.com was founded by Sharon Marzouk after teaching Engineering, Robotics and Engineering to kids for the past 8 years in the bay area.  She has been an advocate of project based education and a big believer of this Maker Movement, but realizes there an an opporrtunity to better organize this movement.
She developed TechyKids.com as a project based platform to empower students to drive their own learning and be able to find their own answers.  Inquiry based learning puts a whole nother load of challenges for teachers though!  So she has worked over the years to solve the complications of giving students openended challenges, while teaching them difficult technical concepts.
It's time to organize the Maker Movement and get new thinking and spirit into traditional education.  Sharon is putting together a core group of educators to build a strong network and become beta users for the TechyKids program.  Learn how to be part of it and start creating content and setting up your classroom.
