In this weeks modality you will gain experience in accessing and treating those hard-to-reach areas of tension, ease muscle restrictions, address adhesions, and release stubborn knots, enabling your clients to experience deeper relaxation and enhanced mobility. Learn about how triggerpoints can cause referred pain and how to locate and effectively treat them. This technique addresses commonly seen issues affecting clients and is a great skill to equip yourself with.In this interactive hands-on BASIC Introductory class, you will learn:1. Description of the Modality2. Account of its historical development3. Benefits &amp; Contraindications4. Specific techniques for basic trainingPlease wear comfortable flexible clothing. Bring 1 set of sheets (flat-fitted-pillowcase), 1 throw blanket, and a pump bottle with your preferred lubricant.Certificates of completion will be issued at the end of the class. Please use the name you want on your certificate when you register.You Do NOT need to bring a table, we have plenty! CEs only good for Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapists – CEs approved by the Pa State Board of Massage Therapy. This class will be with current massage students at the WIofCC however only licensed massage therapists will earn continuing education credits.
