Do I need experience in massage in order to join the class?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not need experience in massage or bodywork.  As long as you feel somewhat comfortable sitting or kneeling on the floor, you are welcome to join.

Question 2

If I have Thai (or table) massage experience, will I still benefit from this class?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely.  After teaching for two decades, Paul is a seasoned teacher and practitioner.  He has  a keen eye that see how a minor adjustment in how you position your body can change everything.  A small adjustment here or there can have a major impact on your practice.

Question 3

Do I need to bring a mat?

Accepted Answer

No, we will provide the Thai mats.  However, we will ask that you bring a full or queen size flat sheet and a pillowcase.

What should I wear

Accepted Answer

Thai Massage, unlike some other forms of massage is done fully clothed. Looser fitting cotton sweat pants are optimal but yoga pants can work too.  Wear a t-shirt with shoulders covered (no tank tops please) or a long sleeve t-shirt.  And bring a sweatshirt in case you get chilly when receiving.

Can I bring food for lunch

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have a refrigerator in the studio, a microwave, a hot water bubbler, a sink and tables to eat at.  There are also restaurants in the area.  You will have 75 minutes for lunch.

Question 6

When is the early registration deadline?

Accepted Answer

The early registration cost is $279.  and the deadline for receiving that price is April 4th.  After April 4th, the cost goes to $309.

Question 7

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations 30 days prior to the class will receive a full refund less a $15 processing fee.
Cancellations made 29-14 days prior to the class will be able to use that tuition towards a future class less a $15 processing fee.
No refund for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to class.
