Our Juneteenth Tech Summit will take place at The Broadway Event Hall, 2323 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612 and doors open at 5:30 PM.

<p>GHTech, founded by Oakland native George Hofstetter, announces The Juneteenth Tech Summit taking place on June 19th, 2023, at 5:30-8:30 pm at the Broadway Event Hall, 2323 Broadway, Oakland, CA. A University Innovation Fellow at Stanford University, featured recently in local news articles, Hofstetter, age 23, created GHTech in order to effectively increase the diversity numbers in tech, eliminate the digital divide, and elevate communities of color. GHTech Inc. hosts this free event in partnership with The University of Cambridge’s ThinkLab, and The Kapor Center, as a celebratory conclusion to GHTech’s HBCU Lecture Series Tour on Black Creativity and Hacktivism. Hofstetter hopes the summit will, “inspire the next generation to take action in creating a future that they want to be a part of”.</p>
