Cupertino Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (CMS-PTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, parent and teacher volunteer organization, committed to making CMS an exceptional environment for all of our students. CMS-PTO will fund key educational programs, community-building activities, and extras for the school and students that are not attainable with current school and district finances.

Have you ever wondered how much screen time is healthy for kids or when you should get your child a phone? Are you worried that social media use can damage your teen's self esteem? Managing media use in your family, especially by your kids, is one of the biggest challenges of 21st-century parenting. Join us as Dr. Leena Khanzode answers these questions and discusses larger issues such as how to avoid letting technology and media weaken the bonds in your family. Parents and guardians only, please. This is a free event. 
Dr. Leena Khanzode is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, who has a practice in Los Altos. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Child Psychiatry Department at Stanford and a co-founder of the Taarika Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to create awareness of mental health in children and teens.
