Tech Rebalanced began in 2013, originally as Tech Lady Hackathon, is an organization dedicated to rebalancing representation and power in tech to better reflect our communities. Our annual event is a day of hacking, learning, and community building for underrepresented gender/sexes in tech.More information can be found at techrebalanced.org

Tech, Rebalanced #8 is a gathering of hundreds of DC area folks from underrepresented genders/sexes for a day of friendly learning.

Tech, Rebalanced #8 -- formerly Tech Lady Hackathon -- is a gathering of hundreds of DC area folks from underrepresented genders/sexes (women, trans and non-binary folks, etc.) for a day of friendly learning and hacking. Coders, tech strategists, newbies, nerds, and the curious are all welcome! On Wednesday, March 17th, our virtual &quot;doors&quot; open on Slack. Join us to learn about the event sessions, network, find mentors and mentees, and request a resume/portfolio review. The Slack community will remain open until March 27th.On Saturday, March 20th, our first day of programming starts at 1pm with sessions through 7pm.We&#x27;ll have a final day of programming on Saturday, March 27th from 9am to 1pm.There will be 15 workshops, panels, and discussion groups ranging from &#x27;Accessibility in Web Applications&#x27; to &#x27;Intro to Natural Language Processing.&#x27; More than just a week of tech, Tech, Rebalanced is a day of community building and there will be many opportunities for networking, mentoring, and connecting with the rest of the awesome people in attendance.
