Maira Benjamin, Sr Director of Engineering; Idalin Bobé, founder, TechActivist.Org; Ellen Spertus, Teaching Professor, Khoury College of Computer Sciences, Northeastern University; Tiffany Wood, Program Officer, Pacific Foundation Services

I don't identify as a woman. Should I attend?

Our focus is on BIPOC people whose identity exposes them to misogyny such as cisgender and transgender women.

Question 3

Do I need to bring my laptop or any other material?

Accepted Answer

Some workshops may be easier if you have your laptop so that you can participate in the learning activity. We highly recommend bringing something to write with and bringing your phone to engage with other participants.

Can I bring children to the event?

No. Northeastern University requires everyone to be over 18.

Is the location accessible to people with disabilities?

All conference buildings are wheelchair accessible. Please reach out to info@techintersections.org if you have any other access needs.

What food options will be available at Tech Intersections 2026?

Food will be available to be purchased at Tech Intersections from a variety of local food trucks. Vegan options will be available.
