He is an excellent test automation engineer and enjoys finding solution for any technical problem. His primary focus is on providing fast and reliable test automation frameworks, mainly written in Java and JavaScript. He is also a fan of CI, Agile and Devops way of working and developing.He has experience in creating both UI testing framework with Selenium, Protractor and Appium; and also API testing frameworks with RestAssured. His current role as a Test Automation Lead in Endava surely recommends him as one of the most technical persons from the Testing discipline.KEY TALK: REAL-TIME REPORTING OF AUTOMATED TEST CASES IN AZURE DEVOPSA classic approach for test automation is to manually create and run test cases, select some for automation and then actually implement them in code. This approach, although it has its advantages, is very time consuming. In the fast paced world of software development, we don&#x27;t have the time to create and run the test cases manually. What if there was another way to approach this basic pattern in testing? What if our test automation solution would do all of that for us and even more? Laurențiu believes it’s important to not only deliver high-quality software but also share knowledge and help others to up-skill, which has driven him to design and teach courses related to Java technologies and deliver presentations and workshops. Outside of work, Laurențiu is passionate about traveling and scuba diving.KEY TALK: ARCHITECTURAL ANTI-PATTERNS WHEN DELIVERING A SOFTWARE ECOSYSTEM WITH KUBERNETESThere are several factors to take into consideration when working on a software solution: which languages to use, the process, how to deliver, and how all of these have to match with the general architecture.Laurențiu Spilcă discusses the links between a clean architecture and the development in an environment orchestrated with Kubernetes. Along the way, Laurențiu explores and proves several anti-patterns and good practices, using hands-on examples.The event is open to the entire local tech community.
