An informational presentation on how instructors at UF can use learning analytics to promote student success.

<p><strong>Note: The date of this event has changed. This Tech Byte will occur on Sept. 1.</strong></p><p>Face the future of learning analytics with confidence. This hourlong virtual session features two informative presentations about how new initiatives at the University of Florida can make data do more for instructors and students. Heather Maness from UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training, will discuss a pilot of My Learning Analytics (MyLA), a tool for empowering students to improve their own academic outcomes through a better understanding of their online course performance and progress. Then, John Jordi will explain how UF’s Center for Teaching Excellence is engaging with learning analytics through structured conversations with faculty. Instructors who attend will also have an opportunity to get involved with both initiatives.  </p>
