A free afternoon tea with live music and entertainment to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Derwent Hall

This is a community event in Darwen, Lancashire to celebrate the Queen&#x27;s Jubilee on Saturday, 11th of June from 1:30PM - 4:30PM at Derwent Hall. Pre-booking is essential in order to suit dietary requirements. During the event, there will be live musical entertainment by local musicians <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pancakesteelband" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Pancake Steel Band</a>, local singer <a href="https://www.facebook.com/teribirtwistlemusic" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Teri Birtwistle</a> and local pianist<a href="https://www.facebook.com/SteveShawPiano" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Steve Shaw, The Pianoman</a>. We will also have some activities to keep children entertained. Come along and enjoy the fun and social connection!Leading up to this event on the 2nd of June, we will also have a geodome assembled in the centre of the Market Square displaying artwork on the theme of the jubilee by children from local schools and plants potted all around it as part of the Queen&#x27;s Green Canopy. Feel free to come along to view this on the 2nd of June!
