The Certified Scrum Developer Team Member Practices class is a 2 day immersive training and learning experience that covers Agile values and Agile principles, the fundamentals of Scrum, the intricacies of the Scrum framework, Scrum roles and accountabilities, and the key skills needed to be able to work successfully on a Scrum team. Upon completion of this course, students will earn the the Certified Scrum Developer (CSD®) credential from the ScrumAlliance®.

Note that this is a non-technical class. If you are a programmer, you might be interested in the Certified Scrum Developer – Agile Engineering Practices class instead.

The class is appropriate for attendees that are brand new to Agile and Scrum or for more experienced practitioners that need a refresher to get certified and start their journey towards becoming a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP®). Fadi Stephan is a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®), Agile Coach, and technology consultant with more than twenty years of experience at startups, government agencies, and Fortune500 companies across various sectors including financial, hospitality, and homeland. His focus is on building high performing innovative organizations and teams that deliver value early and maximize ROI. Most recently, Fadi was the Software Development Practice lead at Excella Consulting as well as the Digital Services Delivery Solutions lead. Prior to that, he was Director of Product Development at DATABASICS.

Fadi’s background is in technology consulting and product development. He has successfully led digital transformations by combining lean discovery with Agile delivery and a DevOps mindset to deliver impactful digital experiences. At client sites, Fadi trains and coaches teams on agility, leadership, product management, user-centered design, Agile engineering practices and DevSecOps.

Fadi is based in Washington DC and co-organizes DC’s largest Scrum User Group and frequently presents at conferences nationwide. When Fadi is not teaching or coaching, he enjoys cycling as well as downhill skiing.
