Event description

Description

Whether you are a cradle Catholic able to give a detailed history of the Mass or you are curious about what and why we Catholics do things at Mass, this is the opportunity to learn more!

This is the second in a series of teaching Masses where a priest will celebrate Mass with us in the chapel, explaining and providing information as we go through the Mass. While the Mass is a weekday Mass, and thus usally only 30 minutes or so, due to the explanations this Mass is likely to be about an hour and a half long.

As we want to make sure people are able to hear and see what is going on, we are limiting space at each teaching Mass to those who register in advance. We will have additional teaching Masses scheduled, so if the event fills, please keep an eye out for the next opportunity. We also encourage those who attended the previous teaching Mass to let those who have yet to attend register so as to allow as many parishioners as possible to enjoy this opportunity.

This Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Greg Sakowicz.

Should you have any quesitons contact Jennifer Delvaux at jdelvaux@holynamecathedral.org or (312) 787-8040.

Please note, each person wishing to attend needs to register seperately. We will have a list of all attendees at check in.
