In this two-hour hands-on virtual workshop learn the basic tools, materials and techniques to introduce the exciting drawing medium of colored pencil into your curriculum or to add to your personal artistic practice. In two-hours complete a rich vibrant sphere and learn all the ways this simple form builds confidence and engagement in your art classroom.

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to:

  • Layer, blend and burnish colored pencil for a smooth waxy finish.
  • Build rich dimensional hues and values without using a black pencil.

A supply list and zoom link will be provided via email prior to the workshop.

Each registrant will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the individual workshop.

All workshops will be offered twice a month - once on a Saturday morning and once on a Thursday evening. The content for Saturday and Thursday will be the same.

The June sessions will be recorded for anyone who can not attend live.
