This training is based off the Enough Abuse Curriculum, so we will stress the importance of body safety for children and how to help caregivers overcome any barriers to teaching children in their care.

Training Objectives:

1. Learners will be able to understand the benefits of communicating about body safety. They will know body safety tips to practice with children.

2. They will know ways and strategies to teach parents and children about practicing this safety.

3. Learners will be able to understand the benefits of communicating about body safety. They will know body safety tips to practice with children.

Please Note: This training DOES NOT satisfy the requirements of the 2 hour requirement every five years to complete "recognizing and reporting abuse".

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
