Description

The CMS Foundation is excited to host our Teacher Talks 2019 live event. Inspired by the world-renowned TED Talks, Teacher Talks provides CMS educators with a platform to share their ideas and experiences, and to inspire others as they cultivate the minds of tomorrow.

This year's experience will feature talks from:

  • Eli Davis | Lincoln Heights Academy

  • Eboné Lockett | Cato Middle College High School

  • James O'Neal | Piedmont IB Middle School

  • Justin Parmenter | Waddell Langauge Academy

  • Kari Rhoades | Mallard Creek High School

Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be available beginning at 5:30 pm. Talks will begin at 6:15 pm, followed by a meet and greet with presenters.

Is this event open to the public?

Yes, this event is open to the public. We encourage community members to join this special experience and be inspired by our local educators. Due to limited seating, all guests are asked to register to attend. All talks will be filmed and made available online at cms-foundation.org after the event.


How much are tickets?

There is no cost to attend this event.


What are my parking options for the event?

Parking is available in the 7th Street Parking Garage after 5:00 pm (enter on 6th or 7th Streets between N. College and N. Brevard Streets). Parking in the garage will be validated.
