Join Albert Lucio and Jake Cordero of The Austin Séance for a hands-on tea-leaf reading workshop, conducted at The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop in East Austin. All attendees will get a chance to read leaves on their own.

Will I have my leaves read during this workshop?

Yes! You will learn to read leaves and then conduct two mini sessions with friends.

What is The Austin Seance?

The Austin Séance is a creative and experimental collaboration devoted to the history and practice of American séances and Spiritualism. Led by Artistic Director Albert Lucio and Editorial Director Jake Cordero, The Austin Séance has operated from its home base in Central Texas since 2016.

What is the Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop?

The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop is operated in East Austin by tattoo artists Nixie Vly and Rachel Kolar. Nixie is a tarot reader, vodou practitioner, herb gardener, and producer of handcrafted spiritual oils and incenses. Rachel is an artist, crafter, and collector of rare books and curios.
