About this event

Join us on for a fun, interactive tea themed candle-making class at FestiviTea shop in Colorado Springs. In this 1.5-hour class, you'll enjoy tea service (included with your ticket) and learn the art and science of candle making by pouring a tea-scented candle in a reusable tea cup or mug. (You'll be able to clean your tea cup and use it again to drink from after you've enjoyed your candle completely.)

Choose from a themed menu of fragrances for your candle including lavender, rose, white tea, bergamot, chai and more to craft your own unique tea scent. You'll have the option to add embellishments like dried flowers, crystals, cinnamon sticks and anise stars to the top of your candle if you choose!

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:

  • All supplies and equipment needed to create one (up to) 10-ounce tea-scented candle. **You have the option to either bring your own tea cup or mug to make your candle even more unique to you (see requirements below) or purchase a tea cup (comes with a matching saucer) in advance for an additional $10.
  • Fun, friendly instruction from Courtney, owner and candlemaker of celyse studio
  • Tea service provided by FestiviTea

IMPORTANT!

Two options for tea cups/mugs:

  1. Bring your own tea cup or mug and make your candle even more personalized (don't worry, you'll be able to clean it and use it again when your candle has been enjoyed completely.)
  2. Purchase a tea cup in advance to be provided to you the day of the event. This will cost an additional $10 on top of the ticket price. You'll be able to choose from a variety of colors. Each tea cup will have a matching saucer (see photos for reference).

Tea Cup/Mug Requirements: If you bring your own vessel, tea cups should be no larger than 10oz and made of glass, ceramic, porcelain or metal (no plastic cups! they will melt.). All other supplies and equipment needed for this class will be provided (wax, wicks, fragrance, etc.).

Candle curing process: Please note that the candle you create will need to cure and cool for a minimum of 30 minutes after pouring before it is ready to safely transport home. We invite you to enjoy conversation over tea while your candle cools.
