The WWDA brings together the leadership of the eleven regional workforce development areas (WDAs) in Wisconsin to develop and implement statewide workforce strategies and build a stronger workforce for Wisconsin to ensure businesses continue to grow and thrive. WWDA is dedicated to improving the quality of Wisconsin’s workforce by supporting and maximizing the collective strength of the state’s local workforce development boards.

The Talent Development Conference (TDCON2022) will highlight possible solutions to the state's workforce shortage.

The Wisconsin Workforce Development Association is excited to announce the return of our annual in-person Talent Development Conference (TDCON2022) on April 7-8th, 2022, at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Business leaders, executives, state industry and trade associations, employers, policymakers, and workforce funders are encouraged to attend.

Over the day and a half long, conference attendees will have a chance to hear from four keynote presenters and participate in 15 different breakout sessions. We will also listen from panels of experts as they discuss, debate and present. The theme of this year’s conference is ways to deal with the worker shortage in Wisconsin, one of the most talked-about issues facing our state.
