The department provides a personalized and caring learning environment for its students, enhanced by high quality faculty, staff, facilities, and equipment. The environment includes exceptional instruction, frequent opportunities for relevant laboratory experiences, research, practice of communication and teamwork skills, and the challenge of undertaking realistic engineering projects.We believe in preparing our students for the future by providing up-to-date curricula, teaching methodology, and research opportunities. The senior design projects, the hands-on nature of the laboratories, and the practical experience have earned TCNJ graduates the reputation of being industry-ready.The program also provides a base for both graduate study and lifelong learning in support of evolving career objectives. Many of our graduates attend graduate school directly after graduation and many more attend within five years. Our graduates have been accepted into graduate programs at Drexel, Penn State, University of New Mexico, Princeton University, Yale University, John Hopkins; just to name a few.Our vision embodies the department’s long-standing commitment to providing an exemplary, high quality undergraduate program in a vibrant project based environment.

TCF 2020 is a one-day Festival, with compelling talks, presentations and flea market. In the high technology area, one year can mean very dramatic changes in both hardware and software. It is not easy to keep up with it all – and that is exactly why we need to have these yearly get-togethers.
