During this three week TBRI for Caregivers of Teenagers study beginning Wednesday June 5, 2024 we will examine seven strategies of applying TBRI in your relationship with Teenagers that have suffered trauma. The topics to be covered are 1.Building Trust, 2. Laying the Foundation for Change,3. Balancing Structure and Nurture in a Relationship, 4. Scripting New Behavior, 5. Correcting Behavior, 6. Giving Voice and 7. Making Sense of the Past. Attending all three weeks is essential to be able to apply these principles of TBRI.

This series will be hosted by TBRI Practitioner, Ernie Casarez and his wife Pat Casarez, a Connection Study Facilitator. This couple have been advocates for vulnerable children for decades in Orange County, CA, they have fostered, adopted, been legal guardians and been relative caregivers. They have been regularly hosting TBRI Trainings on Zoom as well as the TBRI Connection Study three times a year for folks across the United States, Latin America , Canada, Africa and Europe since 2020. During those classes, many of the folks who attended have requested examples of how to apply these TBRI Principles for older children. You will see an exciting video of a camp for 12 teenagers hosted by the staff from TCU's TBRI professionals and see how they apply the Principles of TBRI in those relationships. Please sign up now because attendance will be limited.

By signing up for Week 1, you are automatically enrolled for all three Wednesday classes on June 5th, June 12th and June 19th.
