TBRI & Trauma-Informed Classrooms training is a digital training designed to equip educators to help children from backgrounds of abuse, neglect, and/or trauma. Join us to learn how to disarm fear, optimize learning, and facilitate healing for vulnerable children in the classroom. This four-part seminar includes the following sessions:

  1. Trauma & The Brain: The Impact of Trauma at School (57 minutes)
  2. Empowering Our Students: Meeting Physical Needs (1 hour, 13 minutes)
  3. Connecting in the Classroom: Creating Relationships that Matter (1 hour, 6 minutes)
  4. Correcting Behavior: Rethinking Classroom Management (1 hour, 32 minutes)

Presented by Casey Call and Sarah Mercado from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU. Hosted by My Healing Home. A certificate for 5 CEUs will be emailed to participants after the event. Must register to receive the meeting link with the workbook download, and be eligible for CEUs.
