Tavern at the Crossroads Presents - Abjuration Abbey

Hail travelers. Abjuration Abbey (presented by Tavern at the Crossroads) is a dinner and drink event in a medieval tavern setting.

There is no purchase necessary to attend; however, to help cover the costs of the event, we ask each attendee for a minimum donation of $25. Additional incentives will be offered if we reach our donation goals.

Step into the enchanting world of Abjuration Abbey, where every corner is steeped in the ambiance of a whimsical, monastic tavern. Immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Abbey Ales, brewed with care and tradition, perfectly complemented by the aroma of fresh-baked breads wafting through the air. Sip on homemade honeyed-meads, crafted to perfection, as you enjoy a hearty dinner featuring succulent roasted pork. Join us for a day of revelry and delight, as we transport you to a place where the ordinary fades away, and the extraordinary comes to life.

Upon your arrival, our friendly groundskeeper will warmly welcome you to Abjuration Abbey. You'll be asked to sign the guest tome, a tradition that marks your presence in our mystical realm. Additionally, each guest will receive a pouch of golden coins upon arrival, which can be used to purchase drinks, food, and other delights at the tavern.

When you attend, here is the minimum of what you can expect:

• Savor the unique flavors of our event-exclusive homebrewed ales, expertly crafted and on tap for your enjoyment.
• Embark on a day filled with exciting games and challenges, promising fun and laughter for all who join in!
• Fresh and home-baked sourdough (fresh means baked the very morning of the event by us) to accompany appetizers of cheese and fruits.
• Indulge in a sumptuous feast featuring succulent roasted pork, accompanied by a delightful medley of root vegetables, all served on a rustic, medieval-style trencher (a plate of bread).

• Discover the exclusive delights of the tavern by unlocking special incentives during the event! Gain access to our tantalizing new meads, delectable desserts, and a host of other surprises!

• Medieval tavern ambiance provided by rustic hewn tables, drinking horns, and lanterns.
• Peruse a delightful array of locally handmade treasures, including artisanal soaps, aromatic incense, flavorful spices, and a variety of other crafts, all available for purchase.

Abjuration Abbey is a limited time event. The event will be open April 20th and April 27th. We will schedule a thrid event on May 11th if the April events are booked quickly.
