About this event

Cline Family Cellars is a family-owned, estate grown winery in Sonoma, California that produces exceptional wines that are also great values. While they're most famous for their outstanding Zinfandels, Cline also has some other fantastic offerings in their lineup, including Chardonnay and Petite Sirah.

In this class, you'll taste five of their wines while learning more about their rich history which spans nearly half a century. Join Doug D’Auria, North East Regional Manager for Cline Family Cellars, for a virtual tour of the winery’s wines and vineyard locations across Northern California. Owner Fred Cline founded the winery back in 1982, benefiting from generations of ancestral winegrowers and committed to showcasing the state’s oldest plantings of overlooked varietals like Zinfandel and Petite Sirah and no one knows more about the state’s “Ancient Vines”. Doug will lead this tasting of California heirloom treasures.

The wines that will be sampled include:

  • Cline 2022 Viognier
  • Cline 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
  • Cline 2021 Ancient Vine Zinfandel
  • Cline 2021 Ancient Vine Mourvedre
  • Cline 2020 Contra Costa Petite Sirah
