Grab your friends and get ready to ride through the streets of our nation&#x27;s capital on Sunday, September 17th, as we roll in the new year with a Taschlich Ride. Join Rabbis Nora and Ilana from Sixth and I and Gather DC for Tashlich, a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year. (Bread will be provided at the site)Please register for the ride so we know you&#x27;re coming. Meet at 4:15 with wheels up at 4:30. The Tashlich ceremony will start at 5:30.Where: Gather Chinatown Park, diagonally located from Sixth and I Synagogue. The start and end points are near multiple Cap Bikeshare docks, and we&#x27;ll make sure you won&#x27;t break the 45 minute limit.---This slow, social ride for Generations Z, Y, and X is suitable for cyclists of all levels. It&#x27;s the perfect way to make new friends, get comfortable with city riding, find new biking buddies -- or just to &quot;do Jewish&quot; in a whole new way.We&#x27;ll explore about 5ish miles of DC -- parts you may not see every day (or you&#x27;ll see them in a whole new way).And as always, it&#x27;s FREE!
