About this event

    Who, What and Why:

I created this group, which is open to all dog owners (including dog walkers and sitters who are watching a dog for others) and trainers, so that dog parents and their fur covered pals have an opportunity to join up for group a.k.a. pack walks. This is a great way to guarantee some much needed real-world, outdoor socialization for our four legged friend(s), while also practicing some informal walking training with the group. I will always bring my friendly Golden Retriever, Sunny, along for the walk. The goal is to is to help our pups meet and make neighborhood friends, get some exercise, and learn to walk with us.

*This is a new group, so we will start small and aim to grow 🙂

    When and Where?

To kick things off I will host this meetup every Sunday afternoon at 12-1 p.m. EST (this may be flexible over time) beginning on January 20th, 2024 for this year. We will meet at the dog park located within the beautiful A.L. Anderson Park at 39699 US Highway 19 North in Tarpon Springs, FL. After entering the park, drive straight until you see the sign for the dog park on the right side of the road to reach its entrance.

    Frequently asked questions

Are there other ways to meet local dogs and socialize?

Yes! We will have dog park meetup on Saturday afternoons. Plus, in addition to coordinating group training lessons at the local Palm Harbor Petco and Oldsmar PetSmart, we recommend using Hounds Town USA as a doggy daycare so that the dogs can continue to see their buddies.
