Tarantula Hike
In honor of spooky season, bring the whole family to an evening hike to look for tarantulas!
Let's take an evening hike and look for spooky season creatures! Tarantulas, bats, and owls, oh my!
We will meet at the front of the ranch with the gate open for arrival from 5:00pm to 5:20 pm. We will hike from the lake house to the long valley (about 2.5 miles round trip on gravel ranch roads). We will return to the lake house to enjoy a hot beverage and might even see bats and owls as the ranch comes alive with nightime critters. Attendees can exit the ranch unescorted, they just can't enter without supervision. You must arrive between 5pm and 5:20pm to attend. Rain will cancel this hike.
