About the event:
This is a ticketed event no extra guests will be allowed to participate. In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to create your own rug, hosted by Andrea creator of Tuft Birmingham!
What’s Included: All the supplies needed to create your hand-tufted rug: tufting machines, frames, cloth, and a selection of yarn from our wide range of yarn colors. Finishing service done by us: gluing, shaving, and backing your rug!
You will learn how to use the tufting machine and apply different techniques for the best results. Once you are finished tufting your masterpiece, Andrea will trim, glue, and back your rug and have it available to pick up or ship!(addtl. $10 to ship) Please allow 2 weeks for turnaround!
1. "Can I pick my own yarn colors?" : Yes! You can choose up to 5 colors from over 20 yarn colors.
2. "How big will my rug be?" : Your finished rug will be between 24" - 27"
*Please arrive at class 5-10 minutes before the start time. *Any student over 30 minutes late will not have time to complete their rug.
