Do I need to be Taiwanese or a “professional” to come?

Not at all! While our mission focuses on the Taiwanese American community, our events are open to all friends of the community. We welcome students, creatives, retirees, and everyone in between.

What if I have never been to an event before?

Welcome! Everyone starts with their first event. We often have newcomers who come join us.

What does the ticket fee go towards?

We are all volunteers. This reserves your spot for limited seating and supports TAP-DC’s operating budget, helping us continue to bring you more events.

TAP-DC Mandarin Workshop

Overview

Ready to take your Mandarin to the next level? Join TAP-DC for an evening of immersive language practice!

This workshop is for intermediate learners and up who are looking for a supportive, Mandarin-speaking environment to practice and learn together.

Led by our community member and experienced language instructor, Celine, we will be using prepared materials for guided discussion. While high-level reading ability is not required, we recommend that participants be comfortable following along (with assistance) as we review materials together in Mandarin. Our space is limited to help ensure everyone has an opportunity to speak and participate.

🎯 Target Level: Intermediate and up (primarily speaking Mandarin)
