TAP-Chicago is an Illinois not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 to help strengthen and unite the Taiwanese American community in Chicagoland. We provide cultural awareness, professional development, community service, and leadership opportunities to the Taiwanese American community. From humble beginnings, TAP-Chicago has grown to 2000+ members since our inception 8 years ago! In fulfilling our mission, we collaborate with different Asian American, cultural, professional, and social service organizations in the greater Chicagoland area.The mission of TAP-Chicago is to:Network Taiwanese Americans in the Chicagoland area and build a strong community of people who support one anotherHelp our members develop personally and professionally and become leaders for the communityIncrease knowledge of and appreciation for Taiwanese American and Asian American culture and strengthen our sense of identityGive back to the community in tangible ways

TAP-Chicago

Join TAP-Chicago for our annual BBQ and fun day at beautiful Montrose Beach. Besides the mouth-watering barbeque, warm weather and great company, there’s going to be nets for beach volleyball and plenty of sand for football, frisbee, etc. Don’t miss out on the fantastic party and chance to network/meet new and old friends.  Here are some items on the menu: +Awesome Food- steak, chicken wings, sausages, burgers, dogs, vegetarian options, and sides. +Awesome Drinks- beer, wine, and sangria in addition to soft drinks and water!
 Where to find us when you arrive at Montrose beach: We will post a map up on Facebook and emailed to all attendeed as soon as we get set up day-of. Don't worry you will find us!  Tickets for this summer eat/drink/play/mingle extravaganza are only $20! Getting There: There is plenty of street parking.
