No. This class is designed for absolute beginners. No previous tango or dance experience is required.

Do we rotate partners during the class?

No. Couples remain together throughout the entire class.

Question 3

What if one of us has two left feet?

Accepted Answer

Perfect. This class is about connection, not performance. The structure is progressive and beginner-friendly.

Question 4

What should we wear?

Accepted Answer

Date attire is encouraged. Wear comfortable shoes with smooth soles to allow easy pivoting and turning.
 Avoid rubber soles, heavy athletic shoes, boots, or high heels.

Can we arrive late?

No. Doors close at 7:15 PM sharp to protect the structure and experience of the class.

Is this a singles event?

Accepted Answer

No. This class is exclusively for couples who register together.

Question 7

Is the $50 voucher per couple or per person?

Accepted Answer

The $50 voucher is issued per person and may be applied toward eligible programs at Strictly Tango NYC within one month of the event.

Question 8

How does the Taylor Public House discount work?

Accepted Answer

After the class, present your ticket to the bartender or server and mention Strictly Tango NYC or Sergio Segura to receive 20% off your total bill (drinks and food). The discount is valid for two hours after the class on the same evening only.

Question 9

Can we transfer our ticket if we can’t attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tickets are refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Within 72 hours of the event, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another couple with advance notice.
