Tango & Date: A Couples Tango Class

A guided class designed to help couples connect, communicate, and move in sync.

Event Description

Whether it’s your first date or your tenth year together, connection requires intention.

Tango & Date is a structured couples class that uses Argentine Tango as a powerful tool to strengthen communication, awareness, and shared rhythm.

This is a guided class where couples stay together and learn how to connect more clearly — through movement.

No dance experience required.

You don’t need to know tango, you only need to be willing to move together.

Event Flow (2 Hours)

7:00 – 7:15 PM | Arrival

• Welcome reception
• Light snacks & water
• Romantic ambiance
• Doors close at 7:15 PM sharp (no late arrivals to protect the flow)
  

7:15 PM | Tango Demonstration

Sergio and partner demonstrate authentic Argentine Tango, modeling what connected movement looks like.

7:20 – 8:45 PM | Guided Tango Class

A progressive, structured format including learning a tango vocabulary, language and how to create a dance with your partner

Couples remain together throughout the class.

8:45 – 9:00 PM | Integration Practice

Music on. Lights soften.You practice what you learned in a relaxed, guided setting.

After the Class

Every attendee will receive a ticket for a 20% discount on the total bill (drinks and food) at Taylor Public House — located just across the street.

The discount is valid immediately after the class and must be used within two hours on the same evening.

To redeem, present your ticket to the bartender or server and mention Strictly Tango NYC or Sergio Segura.

An optional and relaxed way to continue the evening together.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.

Within 72 hours of the event, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another couple with advance notice.

If the event is canceled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued.
