You know how we always talk about 'Trash to Cash', right? Well this time we're turning trash into... crafts. Or rather, soap. Beautiful bars of soap made from our very own beef tallow.

We couldn't think of a better time to host a soap making class than just before Mother's Day because we know there's no way you've found the perfect gift yet. What else could Mom want more than to spend an evening making her very own signature scented soap and drinking wine?

We don't actually know how to make soap so we found someone who does and boy, did we hit the MOTHERLODE (get it?). This beautiful Mama is near and dear to our fam (her husband runs our butcher shop!) and between managing a household of 3 adorable kids, 1 large kid (said butcher), caring for backyard chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and working her day job (a nurse!), she moonlights making soap for our little butcher shop in Detroit, and Birmingham!

She'll be teaching you all about lye safety & tallow cold processes and you'll go home with a whole slab of soap (approximately 10 bars) to cut at home and the mold to make more in the future.

Of course we'll be sipping wine and snacking on some charcuterie too!
