Tallahassee Weems Pond Facility: Stormwater Field Tour

The Upper Lake Lafayette Nutrient Reduction Facility (aka Weems Pond) captures sediment and trash from a large upstream drainage basin, and uses modern treatment methods to filter the stormwater before it enters a natural system.

Due to limited parking at the treatment site (3012 Eliza Road), we will meet at the Lafayette Place shopping center, 3111 Mahan Drive. It’s just a short walk down the hill from there to the facility.
