Join us for an informal and collaborative space to connect with fellow Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) practitioners and others interested in CEL work. This is an opportunity to check in, share stories, seek support, and build community. Light facilitation will be offered, but the space is intended to be co-owned by all who attend. 📅 Date: Second Wednesday of the month, 1/14 - 6/10 🕒 Time: 12:45 - 1:45 PM 📍 Location: Smith Memorial Student Union cafeteria 🍴 Bring your own meal!

<h3>Meet the Facilitator</h3><a href="https://www.pdx.edu/academic-innovation/profile/harold-mcnaron" title="https://www.pdx.edu/academic-innovation/profile/harold-mcnaron" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harold McNaron</a> is committed to education as a tool for social justice. As Teaching, Learning and Engagement Associate, he supports faculty teaching community-based learning courses via one-on-one consultations, syllabi reviews, interactive workshops and more. An alum of PSU’s Graduate School of Education, Harold’s work is informed by the theory and practice he has gathered from his time in activist spaces, the nonprofit sector and student affairs.<h4>All are welcome!</h4>The Office of Academic Innovation is committed to making our events accessible to all Portland State University faculty and staff and community members.
